Recognition for a doing great work is a key part of the Merkle culture. Employees are eligible to receive and give each other cash awards for great work. Awards are distributed monthly, quarterly and annually at a red carpet awards celebration where the top prize is the Chairman’s award. What does the winner of the Chairman’s Award receive? A two-year paid lease on a brand new BMW!
Very cool work environments
The feeling is relaxed and casual with lots of places for teams to meet or share ideas over a game of pool, foosball or Wii. Just about everyone, including the CEO, routinely wears jeans. In addition, our employees enjoy free on-site coffee bars, sodas and fountain drinks. We have onsite or near site gyms to make workouts easy and free of cost. Certain office locations are also pet friendly and it’s not unusual to see “Fido” at the office with his best friend.

Merkle offers two medical insurance options through Blue Cross Blue Shield: a PPO Plan and a High Deductible Plan. To offset the costs of the high deductible plan we also offer a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Merkle's dental coverage is offered through Delta Dental. The plan is a PPO which pays benefits for in and out of network services.
Our vision coverage, offered through Vision Service Plan (VSP), provides employees reimbursement for eye exams, lenses and frames every 12 months.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Merkle offers Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Limited FSA and a Parking/Transit FSA. You can use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses.

Internal Education Benefits: Merkle University (MU) was founded in the '90s because we understand the importance of continuous learning. Every employee is required to attend or teach classes and this commitment to learning ensures our employees – and Merkle – are well prepared for the future. MU offers a wide variety of classes in just about every discipline.
External Education Benefits: Merkle will reimburse you for eligible tuition costs as well as associated fees, lab fees and books up to an annual maximum amount of $7,500 for classes in which you earn a grade "B" or "Pass" in the case of a "Pass/Fail" course.
