Merkle

Our Culture

About Merkle’s Culture
You may have heard that we have a unique culture at Merkle and that we’re very different from most other companies. We’re intent on building a company we can be very proud of – a place where exceptionally talented people want to be and where each of us is excited to come to work every day. It’s not easy to create a company like that, and most companies don’t get there.  But that’s exactly what we’re after. We work hard at it every day and that makes us different. Perhaps very different from other places where you’ve worked. At Merkle, our culture doesn’t just reflect what we do - it defines who we are and why we do what we do. All our employees live our culture every day.

About Our Culture
Simply said, our culture is defined by our behaviors. In the most basic form, our culture is based on 7 simple beliefs.

  • Business is personal.
  • Recruit and retain great people because they are our brand.
  • Trust and transparency are non-negotiable.
  • Principles trump rules.
  • Tackle the brutal truth head on – even when it hurts.
  • Build a powerful community where people build enduring friendships and do remarkable things together.
  • Nothing outweighs high performing people, relationships and results.

Our culture isn’t for everyone; remarkable ones never are.  We know that a strong company culture like ours is a polarizing thing. For some people, it’s too strong a dose or too steep a challenge. But for the right people, our culture offers solidarity and a strong sense of belonging. And that’s just what we’re after.

Take a look at our Culture Book, and let us know if we sound like a company where you’d like to work.
