Merkle’s new 2010 View from the Social Inbox report of email and related digital media use sheds light on the new phenomenon of social media on personal communications. The findings from this study, an online survey of 3,281 U.S. adults age 18+ conducted during the fall of 2009, have implications for marketers who are incorporating social networking in their marketing strategy.
