Ken brings nearly 20 years of experience in leading communications teams in the development and execution of multi-media direct marketing programs. With learnings from a variety of industries, Ken’s passion is driving customer growth & business results for dominant brands including: Bank of America, Walmart, PNC Bank, Blue Cross, T-Mobile, and LasikPlus. In his role, Ken leads the identification of new CRM programs and processes that turn insights into action. Backed by extraordinary designers and production managers, Ken aligns the client’s strategic and operational requirements with the tools, team and technology that delivers on the business objectives. Ken’s client and agency side experiences combined with his depth of knowledge in direct response helps our clients quickly breakthrough constraints and focus on increasing customer value.
Prior to joining Merkle in 1999, Ken worked at Devon Direct and Roska Direct developing marketing programs for several financial, technology and packaged goods businesses. Ken started his career at Prudential Insurance as a Direct Mail and Advertising Marketing Manager of the Supplemental Health Insurance programs for AARP.

Chris has 20 years of database marketing agency creative experience, and has been with Merkle since 2002. He has built his career directing multi-media, integrated-channel creative over a wide range of clients. A specialty of Chris’s has been his long-time commitment to various financial services clients in banking, credit/financing, insurance, brokerage and other related fields.
He has fulfilled on creative and marketing initiatives for digital and direct mail media, television, print, collateral, point-of-sale, outdoor and more. And he is committed to an exacting creative process — from start to finish — so he can ensure delivery of on-strategy creative that brings measurable success, maximum ROI and fits the moniker, “Think Brand, Act Direct.” He has won awards from competitions that include the American Marketing Association, Tempo’s, Bennie’s, Telly’s and ECHO.

For the past 18 years, Paul has crafted his direct relationship marketing experience on a variety of financial driven accounts from mutual funds, banking, auto insurance, health insurance and personal wealth management. He has built an impressive portfolio with the simple philosophy that a strong understanding of a company’s brand combined with a well-crafted direct response message can be very powerful. The results have established a number of longstanding business relationships and awards ranging from local and national ADDY’s to the coveted ECHO Award that honors direct marketing campaigns that have excelled in direct response strategy, creativity and results.
Before joining Merkle, Paul was a Creative Director at W.B. Doner in Detroit where he managed their Direct Response and Design Studios. Prior to working at Doner Detroit, he worked his way up from an Art Director to an Associate Creative Director in the co-headquarters of W.B. Doner in Baltimore. Paul has brought great creative alive for a diverse group of companies including, ADT, AutoTrader, Black & Decker, Citizens Bank, Expedia, Hibernia Bank, LensCrafters, Owens-Corning, PNC Bank, Progressive Auto Insurance, Scudder Investments and Sylvan Learning Centers. The challenge of bring results-driven creative alive for clients is what he is committed to fulfilling.

Gabrielle is a driven and results-focused Creative Director with an extensive background in user experience and content strategy. For over twelve years, she has helped nurture, re-invent and revitalize brands by providing intelligent and award-winning creative solutions. Prior to joining Merkle, she delivered for brands such as Washington Mutual Mortgage, Land Rover, Western Union, Infiniti, Macy’s, Playstation, Hilton, Special Olympics, and Real Estate Australia. At Merkle, Gabrielle leads a team of talented designers and copywriters, and continues to focus on bringing exceptional creative solutions to clients.

David Torres has worked in the nonprofit and fundraising marketing world for the past eleven years. He presently services a variety of Merkle’s top nonprofit clients ensuring that the creative developed is top quality, fits with the client’s expectations, and is able to be produced within budget constraints. David has worked as a creative leader in the public and private sector and his experience at ad agencies and nonprofit organizations has earned him a number of creative excellence awards. He graduated with a double bachelor’s degree from Boston University and attended The New England School of Art and Design. Most importantly, David is a die hard Red Sox fan.

Matthew is Director, Studio for Merkle Agency Services Group. In his role, Matthew oversees a multi-location Studio team consisting of Studio Designers, Copy Editors & Project Specialists. The Studio services are responsible for executing creative & versioning, pre-flighting, copy editing, proofing and preparing accurate, high-volume digital print and email ready files with utmost quality control for the Creative Agency and its clients ranging from Financial Services to Non-Profit. Matthew’s expertise surrounds creative digital technology with his forte in Digital Asset Management, workflow and approval systems. With his versed skills in technology, Matt develops and enables new, agency-wide electronic processes, automation and digital proofing abilities to increase agency efficiencies.
Joining Merkle in 2008, Matt’s 18 years prior experience ranges from Print Production Management for Media Advertising and Point of Purchase; to managing all facets of creative technology including: Mac systems, design softwares/utilities and a variety of network tools & systems. Matthew began his career managing a graphic production team in a NYC Ad agency, Medallion Associates, and holds a degree in Advertising Design.

Matt leads Merkle's Print Production Management Team and serves as the print production subject matter expert across all clients. Matt is also responsible for bringing new production methods and techniques to the team and identifying the proper opportunities for deployment. His consultative approach to managing clients' programs enables Merkle to bring a multitude of solutions for even the most complex issues. Doing what is right for the client is paramount to Matt and is the driving force behind the team he manages. His team of print production professionals draw on their diverse backgrounds enabling them to bring a wide array of experience from printing, lettershop services, client focused requirements and agency processes.
Matt has over 14 years of print production management experience handling clients of all sizes from high-version, high-volume credit card issuers to clients utilizing digital print techniques for volumes under 5,000 pieces. He has worked with clients such as: Fleet Credit Card, Bank of America, Capital One, Corporate Express, GE Money, BlueCross/Blue Shield of IL, DirecTV, People to People and Harrah's Entertainment.
