Zhengda “Z” Shen is executive vice president and chief operating officer at Merkle. In this role, Z oversees Merkle’s analytics, data and technology businesses, core pillars of Merkle's capabilities and value proposition. Z provides oversight for delivery of integrated marketing solutions using data, analytics, and technology to Merkle clients and is responsibility for developing the business units’ future direction and growth strategy.
Z joined Merkle in 2000 and has served the company in a variety of positions. Prior to his current role, Z held the position of Senior Vice President of Quantitative Solutions Group. Earlier, Z was Vice President and Client Group Leader for Merkle’s financial services and insurance vertical markets.
Z has a MS in Applied Statistics from The Ohio State University and a MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
