ADVERTISING AGE MAGAZINE RANKS MERKLE AMONG TOP MARKETING ORGANIZATIONS WORLDWIDE
Database Marketing Agency Reports Revenue Increase of Nearly 40 Percent

The rankings were published this week in the April 30 issue of Advertising Age magazine. The magazine’s “2007 Agency Report” ranks marketing and advertising companies according to their 2006 revenue.

With 2006 revenue of $149.5 million, Merkle’s revenue grew 38.4 percent from 2005 levels. This growth places Merkle in the number 8 slot on Advertising Age’s Top 50 Direct Marketing Agencies list. Merkle also ranks number 15 among the Top 50 U.S. Marketing Services Agencies, moving up from its position of number 23 the previous year. Among the Top 50 Marketing Organizations Worldwide, Merkle ranks number 31 and is listed among agencies based in London, Tokyo, Paris, Melbourne and other major cities.
