32, 33, 34, 35! National Character Counts Week

Recognizing the heroic efforts used by search marketers across the nation to cram compelling marketing messages into a tiny handful of characters, President George W. Bush has named October 15 through October 21, 2006 as National Character Counts Week. Like most search agencies, we will proudly celebrate this occasion with appropriate ceremonies, activities, and programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim October 15 through October 21, 2006, as National Character Counts Week. I call upon public officials, educators, librarians, parents, students, and all Americans to observe this week with appropriate ceremonies, activities, and programs.
Oh, the other kind of character! Oh! Oh! Yeah, we're strongly in favor of that too. :)
