FireFox Speed Boost

From software-inn.blogspot.com, tweaks to increase FireFox speed.
  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Type about:config in the address bar (where you'd normally type in http://www.some-url.com).
  3. In the 'filter' box, type network to reduce the number of choices.
  4. Double click network.http.pipelining and set it to TRUE.
  5. Double click pipelining.maxrequests to 8.
