Job Description:

The Account Coordinator will initially play a critical supporting role in supporting the internal Merkle team as well as with clients in managing and communications regarding tactical delivery and/or project status.  By ensuring marketing and support activities are executed flawlessly and in a timely, efficient and profitable manner, Account Coordinators directly impact the success of the work we do for our clients.

  • Working with the senior account team to assure, on strategy, on budget and on time delivery of Merkle service offerings. 
  • Ability to manage multiple resources and SME's to execute against marketing strategies in an effective and timely manner.
  • Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables including multi-channel testing plans, campaign reports and change
  • Competency in managing the creative development and production process for multi-channel campaigns including: Direct Mail, Email, Search, Display and Social.
  • Ability to develop, drive and maintain multi-channel creative and production schedules.
  • Manage internal routing through editorial, creative and development/production teams.
  • Understanding of unique specs associated with developing and managing multi-channel campaigns.
  • Originating actions to improve existing processes or develop new ones as needed to best drive the business.
  • Ability to manage budgets, including working with internal teams to scope out projects.
  • Assist in the contract development process, including legal and finance reviews.
  • Pull hours report and track to project budgets and profitability.
  • Manage and lead status reports for internal teams and clients.
  • Document meeting minutes from internal meetings, capturing key decisions and identifying next steps
  • Creative brief development

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • Relevant experience in client services/account management in an advertising agency, marketing company, or client side marketing department with a working knowledge of:
  • Online and offline creative development and production, Digital Marketing, Multi-channel/Integrated marketing, Campaign management, and Client Relationship Management
  • Strong Written and verbal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast changing environment
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Analytically minded, specifically comfortable with data, response metrics and trends
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast changing environment
  • Experienec working in SalesForce is a plus
  • Detail oriented
