Overview

Responsibilities

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Engineer uses best practices to develop Salesforce Commerce Cloud code to meet specifications defined in new requirements and/or enhancements for eCommerce projects. Additionally:

·       Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot website integration feeds.

·       Participates in the planning and prioritization of projects and build cycles at a client-level to ensure project deliveries in a timely manner.

·       Stays actively involved in initiating, planning, executing, tracking, monitoring, and closing projects

·       Coordinates effectively within multiple teams across different countries, cities, and time zones to define solutions and development efforts

Qualifications:
  • 4 Year Degree, Computer Science, or commensurate experience
  • Proven track record delivering mission critical, enterprise Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations
  • Knowledge of developing and debugging JavaScript applications leveraging industry standard development tools
  • Proven track record with the following technologies: XML, HTML, CSS, JS, and AJAX
  • Experience with third party JavaScript libraries
  • Experience developing to REST interfaces a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, deadline driven, startup-up environment
  • Complete understanding of the full product development lifecycle (design, development, and testing)
  • Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones
  • Experience developing with the VS Code is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,400- $105,600. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
