Job Description:

Individual contributor role that supports senior team members with quantitative methods, coding and data processing as well as business and industry knowledge to develop client and process solutions. 

• Uses relevant quantitative methods to assist senior team members in solving client issues
• Supports data/campaign analytics for clients
• Assists in analyzing direct marketing programs
• Works alongside others to evaluate and improves internal tools and processes

• Execute tasks that support monthly data builds
• Develops code to meet client objectives
• Documents code

• Understanding of statistical software like SAS and/or R
• Understanding of database software like SQL
• Understanding of database platforms like SQL Server and Oracle
• Understanding of statistical concepts (Sampling, Descriptive Statistics, Profiling, Model Scoring/Decile Assignment)
• Understanding of Linux operating platform
• Understanding of file and dataset management
• Understanding of Data enhancement processing
• Execute and interpret customer profiling
• Understanding of datamining
- Ability to build and execute scheduled tasks using the job scheduler system

- 1-3 years understanding of data compilation within the context of constructing household records
- 2-4 years knowledge of data industry, and how that data content is relevant to client needs
- 2-4 years knowledge of math, programming, statistical or similar concepts
- 2-4 years knowledge of Statistical and database software
- 1-3 years knowledge of Linux environment

- Bachelor’s degree in statistics,economics, or related field
- Possess the Merkle attributes of being smart, curious, committed to vision, passionate, fun/pleasant, an achiever, and having a sense of urgency
- Ability to be a team player
