The Pega Marketing Systems Architect is responsible for architecting, designing and developing omni-channel decisioning solutions using Pega Marketing.
The ideal candidate will develop solutions based in client business requirements or modify current solutions to meet changing needs, and have wide range of marketing automation experience in many industries.
Responsible for driving design and development for omni-channel decisioning solutions using Pega Marketing.
Leads and provides support to every member of the development team.
Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices.
Provides thought-leadership to clients across business and technical project teams solving complex business requirements.
Works in conjunction with the Project Manager to size, manage scope and risk.
Development experience with Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC), Pega Marketing and Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) applications. Experience with Data Flow, Data Set, Strategy and Proposition Filter rules. Experience with adaptive modeling. Solid understanding of Java, SQL, XML, and real time decisioning. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Project Delivery Process. Understanding of the principles behind Object-Oriented programming languages. Excellent communication skills. 2+ years’ experience in omni-channel marketing/marketing technology. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies desired.
Experience in designing enterprise class structure and foundational components.
Experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions, including leadership role in design to develop shared/reusable enterprise rules and workflow components within Pega Process Rules Commander.
Experience integrating enterprise applications with Pega solutions.
Experience with n-tier, database and client server design/development.
Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles
Education: BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology required.

Ability to interact effectively with peers and all levels of management, including all Lines of Business and external stakeholders.
