Job Description:

LiveArea is seeking a Director, Solutions to support LiveArea's sales team by providing technical expertise for complex ecommerce solutions. You will provide Direction Your Team, Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Delivery resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the Director, Solutions within LiveArea's Sales team, specifically Magento 2 and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Proactively deploy resources to scope the technical solution with area Practice Leads to meet and exceed customers’ specified requirements while recommending best in class solutions
  • Collaborate with Delivery teams on technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process
  • Consult on platform and technology evaluations as needed
  • Develop resources and content to support LiveArea's Sales and Marketing teams
  • Represent LiveArea for on-site sales pitches and tradeshows
  • Oversee and collaborate the development of proposals – tailored to meet customer needs - and statement of works
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years’ experience in customer-facing activities in an ecommerce environment
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or commensurate experience
  • SFCC Solution Specialist certification (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate technical information for a general audience
  • Superior presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences
  • Can see the bigger picture and capitalize on further opportunities with Sales and Client Partners
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Keen eye for detail and quality
  • Strong level of autonomy with the ability to drive proposals with limited guidance
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience in multiple verticals desired with a preference for Health & Beauty, Retail, and B2B

Assets:

  • Experience working with leading ecommerce platforms and technologies such as Magento 2 and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Strong understanding of retail and content management technologies
  • Knowledge of system integration through REST APIs and open-source applications
