CognitiveDATA Expands its River Market Headquarters in Little Rock to Accomodate Continued Growth

July 26, 2011
Columbia, MD

CognitiveDATA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merkle that provides strategically enabled database marketing innovation for national merchants, announced the expansion of the company’s River Market headquarters in order to accommodate continued growth in both revenue and number of employees.

CognitiveDATA’s office is located in the Museum Center Building at 500 President Clinton Avenue. The company originally located to the historic River Market District over two years ago. As a result of its continued growth, it is now expanding its office space by 30%. Currently, approximately 100 Merkle associates work from the River Market location, and the expansion will accommodate approximately 40 immediate new hires. The new, knowledge-based positions include such skills as software programming, database architecture, business analysis, and client relationship management.

The Little Rock River Market District is quickly becoming the epicenter of all cultural, social and corporate activity in Arkansas’s capital city. The district is a culmination of an extensive revitalization plan to redevelop and capitalize on the history of the river area. After more than 10 years of vision and development, the market district now carries a diverse assortment of local businesses, museums and restaurants.

CognitiveDATA Founder, President and CEO Rod Ford said, “The continued adoption of our innovation in the market is driving growth in all of our offices, and we continue to find Little Rock a rich environment for experienced, knowledge-based employees seeking a career with an innovative growth company. As a part of this most recent expansion we have also taken steps to secure additional space for the future, as we see no slowdown in the growth of our Little Rock headquarters.”

Merkle Chairman and CEO David Williamssaid, “Little Rock is an established hub of commerce and activity in the South, and I am excited to see CognitiveDATA increasing their footprint, as a reflection of our corporate commitment to the area. The expanded office is in the ideal location for the company to continue recruiting and growing to accommodate increased client demand for innovative data quality approaches. I look forward to the growth and advancements that CognitiveDATA will experience as a direct result of this move.”
