Merkle, a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced the appointment of Karen Pierce to vice president, Insurance. Pierce is charged with championing the growth of Merkle’s insurance industry practice by building strong relationships with senior executives in insurance organizations and executing on digital strategies.

Before joining Merkle, Pierce led new business development for the central United States at iCrossing. Prior to iCrossing, she spent several years with Epsilon on its direct marketing and database teams. As many clients’ budgets shifted to digital investments, Pierce turned her focus to digital marketing and since then has helped companies ground their decision-making process in data and analytics.
