Merkle, a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced the appointment of Mac Delaney to senior vice president, media investment and strategy. Delaney will be responsible for the focused management and expansion of Merkle’s top media partnerships.
In this role, Delaney will lead the customization of unique ad opportunities and media investment strategies for Merkle’s largest media clients. He will also oversee collaboration with Merkle’s Dentsu Aegis Network counterparts for seamless integrations among all partnerships. Delaney will report to Coleen Kuehn, chief media officer at Merkle. In Delaney’s previous role as head of programmatic at Merkle, he oversaw the development of Merkle’s programmatic display and social go-to-market strategy and offering. Additionally, he was responsible for identifying and managing the technology, media, and data partnerships that deliver programmatic and social programs.
“I’m extremely proud of the work that has been done as our media practice has grown. This new role provides a great opportunity to strengthen our media business, advance our approach to media investment, and support Merkle’s overall people-based marketing efforts. Most importantly, helping our teams deliver meaningful results to our clients,” said Delaney.
“Over the past two years, Merkle’s media business has driven significant growth both in size and sophistication of its media portfolio. With Mac’s experience and proven success, he is the perfect fit to provide strategic consultation and innovation for our clients as we continue to collaborate with industry-leading media partners,” said Kuehn.
