
Brett Isenberg leads Merkle’s regional finance group providing strategic and financial insight to the business.
He oversees Merkle EMEA’s financial and accounting matters, including: forecasting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis. As well as driving the finance function, he is involved with enterprise systems improvement, commercial negotiation and supports acquisition and integration of businesses acquired in the region.
Brett joined Merkle through the acquisition of DBG, a London and Bristol-based marketing services provider, which Brett and his partners acquired and grew into one of the largest privately owned businesses in its space. The company was acquired by Merkle in 2016 as part of its ambitious growth strategy across EMEA. He spent 14 years in commercial director, CEO and group finance director roles until its acquisition by Merkle.
Prior to investing in DBG, Brett held senior roles at Deloitte, in South Africa and New York, and as the UK Group Financial Controller for a South African listed media business, Primedia Limited.
Brett is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying in South Africa after obtaining a masters degree in Commerce and Accounting in Johannesburg. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales and holds a practitioner certification in GDPR.
