Sam oversees Marketing Solutions, the division of Merkle which specialises in strategic consultancy, CRM, technical consulting, analytics, and real-time decision management solutions. His leadership has helped to strengthen Merkle’s global position as the world’s 5th largest CRM/Direct Marketing network*
With over 900 people across EMEA, Sam’s team works with some of the world’s biggest names in automotive, mobile communications, retail and financial services - identifying client challenges and ensuring the right products and services are in place to ensure business transformation and growth. Sam is also instrumental in helping to shape Merkle’s business development strategy and strengthening the Merkle brand following its rapid expansion across EMEA.
Sam was Group Managing Director of Comet - a leading global consultancy which helped large enterprises build relevant and valuable interactions with customers - when it was acquired by Merkle in 2016. The strategic offering, international footprint and impressive client roster was seen as a perfect fit for Merkle as it grew its global brand.
He joined Comet in 2010 from customer management consultancy company CACI, where he was a director. He previously held senior roles at Experian and Acxiom.
