Merkle|Comet has won the 2017 Pega Partner Excellence in Thought Leadership Award: Customer Engagement. The award was presented during PegaWorld 2017 taking place June 4-7 in Las Vegas, NV. This marks the fourth Pega Partner Excellence Award for Merkle|Comet. The Partner Excellence Award reflects Pega’s expectations of alliance success, using objective criteria to select and reward partners for demonstrating exceptional performance.

Drum Marketing Awards Finalist
Merkle and Exclusive Resorts have been recognized as a finalist in the Customer Insight Strategy of the Year category of The Drum Marketing Awards. Merkle used its Neuroanalytic™ practice based on cognitive psychology and behavioral economics to further understand the Exclusive Resorts audience. Through a series of quantitative and qualitative research phases, we discovered the audiece’s underlying motivations, their emotional drivers, and the market opportunity. This unveiled a massive opportunity for Exclusive Resorts – the audience’s deep desire for “family bonding.”

Merkle's own Dalton Dorne, VP of Marketing, was named to the list of Women to Watch in the DMN 2017 Hall of Femme. The list recognizes women in marketing who have demonstrated standout work and are leaders of the coming generation.
NonprofitPRO Gold Awards for Fundraising Excellence
Merkle and Susan G. Komen have been awarded a Gold award in the Multichannel category by NonprofitPRO for their calendar contest campaign. The goal of the campaign was to generate content for Susan G. Komen’s annual calendar mailing through an online art-submission content, followed by voting on social media to determine the winning design. The email series resulted in some of the highest open rates and engagement rates Susan G. Komen had ever seen, while the social media components generated thousands of votes and a host of new Facebook followers.
Best Social Marketing Campaign
Merkle and HBO have been awarded the Best Social Marketing Campaign for The Marketer Quarterly Marketing Awards by The Relevancy Group. Merkle developed Evergreen, show specific and event driven creative to drive HBO NOW subscriptions. The goal was to implement an “always on” testing strategy and to continually optimize creative through messaging and imagery.
