Merkle (merkleinc.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced the appointment of Peter Randazzo to Chief Technology Officer, Product. Randazzo will lead the product and engineering efforts that power the agency’s industry-leading marketing platforms and cutting-edge solutions.
In this role, Randazzo will assume responsibility for the design, development, and management of Merkle’s technology products. These include proprietary data and identity assets (DataSource and Connected Recognition); a search management and bid optimization platform (Merkle Search); an analytics and measurement platform (Merkle Insights); people-based marketing technologies (MerkleONE); and an audience-based publisher product (Publisher Addressable Marketplaces).
In 2015, Merkle launched MerkleONE, the first-in-market solution that uses insights derived from the combination of customer data and US consumer data to enable marketers to capitalize on the opportunity of people-based digital marketing. Using the same MerkleONE technology and data infrastructure, the company also launched Publisher Addressable Marketplaces, which enables addressable audience targeting across its digital properties by matching CRM and publisher first-party dataThis new, enterprise-wide role is an expansion of Randazzo’s previous function as chief technology officer of Merkle’s Agency Services organization. All Merkle technologies are singularly focused on providing successful results for clients, powered by customer data.
