Claire joined Merkle as the marketing leader for the EMEA region in 2017, responsible for leading a results-driven marketing strategy that supports the company’s rapid growth across the region by helping clients adopt people-based marketing.
Responsible for all elements of Merkle’s EMEA marketing strategy, Claire oversees all client and prospect communications activity for the EMEA business - which has grown to more than 1,400 people across 14 offices in five countries. This includes events, alliance partnerships, white papers, thought leadership content, paid media and lead generation, as well as PR and analyst relationships, employee and stakeholder communication. Claire is also leading the integration of the brands of Merkle’s recent acquisitions in the region, driving synergies and unity across all markets, while aligning with Merkle globally and helping the EMEA business leverage the success and scale of its US operation.
Claire joined Merkle from MEC (now Wavemaker) where she was responsible for building the brand in the UK to support new business, talent acquisition and client growth. Prior to MEC, she was the head of marketing and communications at RAPP, where she oversaw the marketing and communications strategy across its data, CRM and media agencies.
In addition to her extensive marketing experience, Claire was a respected journalist for over a decade working with leading marketing and media trade press.
