LONDON, 26 February 2021: Merkle, (www.merkleinc.com) a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management company and part of dentsu, today announces that Richard Lewis, its head of internal excellence, is the winner of Microsoft Advertising Partner Awards EMEA Trailblazer of the Year.
The Microsoft Advertising Partner Awards, which took place virtually on 25th February 2021, honour and celebrate the individuals and companies that helped make Microsoft Advertising successful throughout 2020. The Trailblazer of the Year category is awarded to an individual who advocates for Microsoft Advertising and drives Microsoft Advertising brand awareness and affinity in an innovative and engaging way, both internally and externally.
Richard was awarded due to his commitment to driving and promoting sustainability both internally and for clients in digital advertising. He championed and led the charge on the incorporation of sustainability into everyday marketing practices. With Microsoft Advertising’s support, Richard spearheaded a programme of initiatives, promoting the benefits of sustainability to campaign performance and profitability for the clients Merkle works with.
Merkle was also announced as first runner up of the Inclusive Culture & Marketing Award, recognising the Microsoft partner that demonstrates the strongest commitment to inclusive practices both culturally within their company and in driving the messaging and importance of developing inclusive marketing campaigns with their clients.
