Merkle is excited to be hosting two workshops, “The Addressable Customer Experience in Travel” and "Impressions, Clicks, Pins & Likes: Ensuring Visibility in Digital Travel Research"  at this year’s PhoCusWright conference on November 12 in Los Angeles, California.

Gaining visibility in the digital space relies on your ability to connect with travelers. Companies that are able to provide the tools, resources and information necessary to solve traveler challenges will have the most success in booking business. Learn how to get in front of and stand out for new customers by staying focused on the right travelers and their needs. Explore key ideas for boosting your overall digital visibility at all stages of travel research. Expand your notions of how to address your connection with customers in the digital world, and how their behavior differs across platforms and offline. Learn to leverage the latest updates from search engines and social platforms. Walk away with new strategies and tactics to better connect with your target travel audience.

This workshop takes place at Plaza 2, Level 3, JW Marriott.

Also on Wednesday November 12, from 12:00pm - 12:35pm, Matt Naeger, EVP, Digital Strategy, Merkle, Shirli Zelcer, Travel, Media & Entertainment Analytics Lead, Merkle and Andrew Hoeberichts, SVP, Travel, Media & Entertainment Practice, Merkle, will host the workshop "The Addressable Customer Experience in Travel" and will introduce a practical approach to creating addressable customer experiences that are driven by data and founded on consumer insights, planning, and technical execution.

In the lives of today’s travelers, Facebook, Google and 1st party mobile platforms have become the primary methods of engagement during consumers’ travel decisions. These platforms have evolved into highly addressable environments with the ability to deliver rich, engaging experiences that are highly targeted and personalized.

Seizing this opportunity requires advertisers to:

•       Develop audience planning and optimization across integrated channels

•       Master the creative experience design process and execute it seamlessly across channels, technologies, and platforms

•       Transform operating models to leverage cross-functional skills in a highly integrated environment

This workshop takes place at Salon 2, Gold Ballroom, Level 1, Convention Center.
