Merkle RMG Appoints VP of Operations and VP of Client Engagement

Executive hires demonstrate RMG’s continued growth this year

Merkle, a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing company, has announced the appointment of two key executives joining Merkle Response Management Group (RMG), the best-in-class processing, data, and technology provider.

James “Jim” Papa has been named vice president of operations. Papa has a strong 25-year history as a leader in operations, manufacturing, and production management. Most recently he served as director of manufacturing operations at Phoenix Color Corporation. His experience includes a proven history in process improvement, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Papa also has a background in LEAN manufacturing principles, finance, and cost controls that have benefited organizations such as Nestlé Waters, North America.

Additionally, Alexandra “Alex” Holtzman has been named vice president of client services. Holtzman has an impressive work history that includes 10 years of experience in developing and fostering long-standing client relationships to expand businesses. She joins RMG from Zeus Living, where she was director of account management. As an innovative thinker, she has produced effective ways to grow company assets through new product development, reviving existing offerings, and testing new market approaches. Holtzman has also been responsible for building account management teams domestically and internationally, as well as creating, monitoring, and managing financial metrics to achieve corporate goals for companies like CARFAX, Inc. and Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC).

“I’m extremely happy to have Alex on board,” said Yamamoto. “I’m looking forward to seeing her bring experience and a fresh approach to developing her department and maintaining relationships with our clients.”

In their new roles, both Papa and Holtzman will be responsible for business development, with a focus on company infrastructure in order to manage the growth of the RMG business. They will be based onsite at RMG’s headquarter facility in Hagerstown, Maryland, and report to Yamamoto.
