Gil Rosenthal

Gil Rosenthal is a Senior Vice President and Client Partner in the Financial Services vertical at Merkle. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic development and growth of Merkle’s relationships with several key financial services clients.

Gil has over 25 years of experience in sales, account management, marketing, operations, and risk management. Prior to Merkle, he was an independent consultant  providing expertise to clients on all aspects of the consumer and commercial credit landscape. Previously, he held several leadership roles at Experian, where he led sales teams responsible for selling credit information, risk management tools, software, consulting and analytics to large financial institutions.   

Prior to joining Experian, he held a variety of risk management and marketing roles at American Express, eventually rising to Vice President of Commercial Card Marketing where he led a team responsible for products and services delivered to AmEx’s largest corporate customers.  Before coming to American Express, Gil served as a senior manufacturing engineer at Pitney Bowes and as a consulting engineer at Litton Industries.

Gil holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
