Paul is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience working directly with many leading retail and consumer goods companies on business and technology strategies, transformational organizational change, and innovative solutions that drive growth and profitability. His deep retail business expertise spans product development, marketing, merchandising, and supply chain operations that support store, eCommerce, and omni-channel business models.  

In his role at Merkle, Paul’s focus is on developing Merkle’s strategies, resources, and innovative solutions for delivering high-impact Connected CRM® services to companies across the Retail Value Chain. Connected CRM® creates next generation omni-channel customer relationships enabled by deep insights, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies.

Paul joins Merkle from Cisco Systems where he spent nine-years and was most recently the Managing Director of the Global Retail and Consumer Goods consulting practice, the consulting lead for the Walmart Account, and the Chief Insights Officer/Founder for Cisco’s FastRetail big data analytics platform. Prior to Cisco, Paul spent 17 years at Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), where he was a Senior Principal in the Retail and Technology Innovation Practices.

Paul earned a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from Boston University, and is a frequent speaker and author on retail and consumer goods business and technology topics.
