Roland has 20+ years of marketing, advertising and media experience working both at global agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Ogilvy as well as early stage companies leading marketing and business development. He has led multi-million dollar AOR relationships with HP, Experian, Blackrock/iShares, Sandisk and McAfee among many others.

Based in San Francisco, he is currently running the Americas’ operations for DWA/Merkle driving growth for the performance marketing agency recently acquired by the Dentsu network supporting the integrated global media for clients such as Intel, Cisco, VMware, Oracle, Slack and 25+ others in the U.S. portfolio spanning programmatic, SEM, social, digital and traditional media.

Roland holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University. Born in Lima, Peru and having lived in Okinawa, Spain and multiple cities in the U.S., Roland has a multi-cultural perspective that brings value to global teams. Roland is married, lives in Marin County, speaks Spanish, plays and composes music, enjoys ice cold gin martinis and is always being challenged by his two teenage children.
