Afroze has over eight years of experience as a customer innovation and strategy specialist. She has played an instrumental role as the customer advocate in customer experience strategy planning and execution.
Prior to arriving at Merkle, Afroze served as an analyst at Accenture’s Customer Innovation Network, where she developed content and designed customized experiences for retail, consumer goods, financial services, agribusiness, and energy clients. There, she mapped out customer journeys in order to understand customer pain points and used case studies, technology demos, and Accenture credentials to address the pain points. While at Accenture, Afroze also designed and executed over fifty innovative retail tours for retail and consumer goods clients and helped to evolve the tour from a simple store tour to a complex, persona-based, immersive tour that was fully customized based on the clients’ industry segment. She worked with over 100 clients during her time at Accenture, creating personalized experiences for them in the innovation center.
Prior to Accenture, Afroze was a partner at a trade finance consulting firm where she was responsible for the digitization of the customer experience within the firm. As a result, her firm was the first within the trade finance industry to utilize a number of digital tactics to engage with customers, including SEO and direct email campaigns. There, she was responsible for planning, budgeting, producing, executing, tracking, and measuring marketing initiatives.
While at Accenture, Afroze completed her Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. She also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Loyola University.
