Jason is a Senior Director of Strategy with Merkle. He brings nearly 15 years of experience leading the development of Performance Marketing programs with a focus in the areas of customer segmentation and profiling, tailored communication planning, digital integration, and marketing analytics. During his professional tenure, he has worked with a number of clients across different industries including Public (Government), Telecommunications, Healthcare, and IT.
In 2009, Jason was awarded the National Strategic Marketer of the Year by the Canadian Marketing Association for his work on different brand marketing strategic efforts with Bell Canada. Jason has been published in a variety of journals including the Canadian Pharmaceutical Journal, Ivey League Business Case Journals, and numerous US Department of Commerce Market Insight reports. In addition, Jason is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Global Business at Acadia and Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, and is an Executive MBA Instructor at the University of Prince Edward Island.
Jason lives in Nova Scotia with his wife, two children and oversized dog. He enjoys reading, running, and DIY projects.
