Jeff is responsible for helping clients increase their profitability with direct marketing strategies based on a deep understanding of consumer buying behavior – a combination of customer actions and the psychology behind them.
With over 25 years’ database marketing experience, Jeff has leveraged his analytical and creative skills to get inside the customer’s head and find unique ways to get prospects to buy more banking products and extend their profitable usage.
Prior to joining Merkle, Jeff led consulting teams at Acxiom and TransUnion, developing and implementing multi-channel acquisition, cross-sell, and retention strategies for financial services companies primarily in retail banking and credit card. His banking career started on the client side at First Chicago, building the cash access product into a billion dollar business.
Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
